Brochure POLIMI School of Management

The POLIMI School of Management develops and disseminates advanced skills in the fields of management, economics, and industrial engineering through research, training, and consulting activities. Combining the academic mission of Politecnico di Milano, which offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes (BSc, MSc and PhD), with a professional mission, the School offers postgraduate courses, MBAs, specialised master’s degrees and executive programmes designed for those already in the workforce.

 

Thanks to its strong interdisciplinary identity and deep understanding of the implications of technology, the School aims to promote innovation and responsible management to generate a positive societal impact.

 

Established in 2003, the School coordinates and guides the Politecnico di Milano’s activities in basic and applied research, technology transfer, and postgraduate education in management, industrial engineering, and applied economics.

The School includes two centers focused on education and innovation:

The Department of Management, Economics and Industial Engineering (DIG) at the Politecnico di Milano

The Department’s activities mainly focus on research, and it is an international reference point for knowledge at the intersection of management, industrial engineering and applied economics. Its aim is to contribute to the sustainable development of economic and industrial systems through innovation. The Department of Management, Economics and Industial Engineering also plays a central role in teaching at the Politecnico di Milano, particularly in the key disciplines of the Management Engineering degree programme (Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD), and supports numerous other educational programmes offered by the university.

The Graduate School of Management (POLIMI GSoM) is part of the Politecnico di Milano

The POLIMI Graduate School of Management is the Politecnico di Milano’s school offering postgraduate and post-experience management training courses. Recognised globally for the excellence of its programmes, which are characterised by a highly innovative technical and analytical approach, POLIMI Graduate School of Management offers more than 40 master’s degrees, including MBA and Executive MBA programmes, open programmes, and customised training courses for companies. The school aims to inspire business leaders and organisations to build a better future for everyone.
